R3 CEV runs a flat organization that allows for all members of the team to interact and contribute with all others, regardless of seniority. While headquartered in New York -- with offices in London and the San Francisco Bay area -- R3 is a globally distributed team. This means that team members must manage communication across multiple time zones. The role may also require travel depending on where the team member is located.
The Lead Architect is responsible for defining the detailed architecture and design of the R3 platform. Taking guidance from the Head of Technology and liaising with stakeholders at member banks and the broader community, the Lead Architect will develop, maintain and iterate a coherent, comprehensible, deliverable design for the Engineering Team.
The Software Engineer is responsible for contributing to the development of the R3 software stack and associated service. They will be a hands-on software engineer , able to work well at all levels of the stack: systems engineering, distributed systems design and development, through to financial modeling.
The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing R3’s social media strategy, growing the company’s followers and fan base, fostering dialogue in relevant communities with influencers, as well as creating, implementing and managing innovative programs that drive web traffic, brand awareness, and reader loyalty through various social media channels and outlets. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience using social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, LinkedIn, Tumblr as well as other social networks.
The Security Engineer is responsible for designing, evaluating and testing the security of systems to ensure that the systems and data integrity of the organization is being maintained and is up – to – date.
Under general supervision, performs publication and technical writing job functions as assigned by management. The specific work assignment may include duties or activities that assist and support management in one or more of the following functional areas, in addition to other duties as assigned.
Primary responsibility for this position is to serve as project testing SME and execute QA testing activities as an embedded resource within various software development projects.
You'll partner with Software Engineers and UX Designers to define and deliver new features, test new concepts and assist with final implementation. Details are critical as you iterate on complex interactions, animations and pixel-perfect visual designs. As a UX Engineer, you will work closely with members of our design team to translate concepts into living, breathing prototypes. You will iterate constantly on interactions, animations and subtle details to deliver the perfect experience.
